This is one event I clean forgot to mention. This year was the seventh since the last beating of the bounds. Every few years, the folks would gather together and walk all the boundaries of the parish so that the foik of all ages would know exactly where the parish bounds were. On this day, we all wandered off to meet in the village’s middle, then walked off over Ramsley Mine, and up on to the moors.
